August 15, 1947, significant of freedom from the British Empire. Without the sacrificed  various great people and freedom fighters of India made it never possible truth. There are lots of freedom fighter  are  Mahatma Gandhi, Chandrashekar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Lokmanya Tilak, Subhash Chandra Bose, Jawahar Lal Nehru,  Rani Lakshmi Bai, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Bal Gangadhar Tilak , Sukhdev , DR. babasaheb ambedkar other patriots and soldiers went through to protect our nation. We can’t imagine our today life if our freedom fighters doesn’t work properly. In this day international holiday occur all over the world. As we know that our history proves that Jawaharlal Nehru raised the Indian National flag with speech  at Red Fort in New Delhi.

On this day various activities are done like flag-hoisting ceremonies, national salutes, parades and various cultural events are arranged in all the states and union territories of India.
In all over the world on this day Peoples display the national flag on their dress and homes, listening to patriotic songs, patriotic movies and greeting family and friends.
Basically the speech mainly focus on problems of the country like as illiteracy, unemployment, corruption, poverty etc as well as the honor to the brave soldiers of the nation, parades and a short cultural celebration. It is real fact that each and every Indian doesn’t get to be a part of these celebrations on the historic day o red fort but they can watch live telecast of the Independence Day celebrations at Delhi on their home television. On this day every one pride and patriotism is raised more by singing the National Anthem and hoisting of the national flag in each institution of our country.

On this day kids are much happy after wearing  uniforms along with a tricolor badge pinned onto their dress and a tricolor band on their wrists. In each colleges, school, institutions, the flag hoisting, short speech and a few cultural events are held. As compared to all festival the excitement of Independence Day celebrations is more prominent as kids ,a man or a woman, a Hindu, a Muslim, a Sikh or a Christian. This is the significant of india unity.
